If your phone gets reported lost or stolen in Sri Lanka, you might find that either the your Network Provider, Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, or the Police don’t have solid ways to help track it down. Unfortunately, these devices often end up with dishonest repairmen who buy them and take them apart for parts. But we’re stepping up as an Association to tackle this issue soon.
We encourage you to let us know by email if you in case you become a victim. Once we get reliable information, we’ll send out alerts to our member repairmen so they can keep an eye out. Together, we can fight this problem more effectively.
